Allied Africa Brokers Network

About Allied Africa Broker Network

YOA Insurance Brokers is part of the Allied Africa Brokers Network (AAB), an alliance of independently African-owned and operated insurance brokerages working together to provide consistent, high-quality risk management across the continent. Established in 2013 and coordinated from Johannesburg, South Africa, AAB was created in response to the rapid growth of investment flowing into Africa and the recognition that global businesses operating across multiple African markets needed a unified, African-rooted broker network that understood the terrain. For YOA’s clients, AAB membership means that when your business moves into another African country, we are not starting from scratch; we are working with trusted peers we already know.

African Insurance Expertise, Delivered Across Borders

AAB currently has representation in more than 16 African countries through over 55 member offices, with each member carefully selected and bound to a shared code of conduct and quality standards. The alliance is not a corporate group but a coordinated partnership between established, independent African brokerages including some of the most respected firms in Southern Africa, East Africa, and West Africa that chose to work together rather than be absorbed into global broking chains.

What This Partnership Means for YOA Clients

For Nigerian businesses expanding into other African markets and for global companies using Nigeria as a gateway to the region the AAB affiliation is one of our most practically useful partnerships. When a client opens a branch in Ghana, builds a project in Kenya, sets up manufacturing in Egypt, or exports to South Africa, we can engage an AAB member broker in that country who operates to the same professional standards we do, speaks the same risk management language, and is accountable to the same alliance we are. For Nigerian businesses with continental ambition, this is exactly the kind of on-the-ground partnership that makes expansion safer, smoother, and easier to defend when something goes wrong.
